Came Into Existence
Vadakkenchery Police Station has been started functioning from the British rule period onwards under the juridiction of Alathur Circle. Later it has come under the juridiction of Vadakkenchery Circle. Prevously station has been functioned in a tiled house. Presently the station is been functioning in a new building during 2008 onwards. Vadakkenchery Circle office also functioning with in the same compound and police quarters also existing on the rear side of the compound.

Main Projects through the Police Stations
1.CARE:- CARE is functioning for the welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens residing at Vadakkenchery PS limit and is administered by One ASI and supervised by SI and CI.
2.CLEAN CAMPUS SAFE CAMPUS:- As a part of Govt. Order this programme is being implimenting all education institution of Vadakkenchery PS limit the main object of the programme is bringing self confidents, leadership, Personality development and self awareness of their surroundings etc facts
3.STUDENT POLICE CADET:- This project has already been implimented at Survajana School, Puthucode during July-2012. Two batch consisting 44 each boys and girls. Aim of the project to develop personality, National Integrity and make them fit for future Police personnel etc fact. WCPO &ndash 4444 Raghi and CPO &ndash 5192 Sandeep are the efficient drill instructors for the SPC students
4.SCHOOL PROTECTION GROUP:- Aim of the project is to bring awareness among children against narcotic drugs, liquior adiction, Mobile phone abusing. In addition to that imparting training to traffic awareness and disciplined school atmosphere etc facts.
5.Reception Counter:-This counter is functioning through out the day and collected all types of petitions and is being taking appropriate action as per the merit of the petition
6.Women desk:-Women desk is functioning through out the day and collected all types of women petitions including children and is being taking appropriate action as per the merit of the petition.
