District Crime Records Bureau

DCRB is started w.e.f. 01.10.1989 vide Govt. Order No. 69/89 date. 08.05.1989 and Order No. SA-1860/86-09/1989 of DGP Kerala. District Crime Records Bureau is headed by one Deputy Superintendent of Police who is also nodal officer of Crime Criminal Tracking Network System (CCTNS), Cases of Atrocities against SC/ST persons.Collection, Analysis and Dissemination of the crime data and rendering expert advice to Police Stations are the core functions of the District Crime Records Bureau.
