Tourism Police

Tourism Police wing has been functioning in the state for maintaining law and order, preventing attack and harassment on tourists. They also assist the tourists for getting tourist related information, guidance, etc.Tourism Police here is to provided assistance to the tourist and also to avoid law and order issues inside the Malampuzha garden. The sanctioned strength of tourism police is 2 SCPO&rsquos and 10 CPO&rsquos as per DO No 505/98P dtd 12.08.1998 of DPC, Palakkad. Presently only 1 SCPO and 5 CPO&rsquos are there in Tourism Police. The officer in control of the whole tourism unit is SHO, Malampuzha PS
