Came Into Existence
Mannarkkad Police Station was opened on 14.08.1976 vide GO.Rt 1863/72/Home dt 11.12.72 and it consists of 7 Panchayaths namely Mannarkkad, Kumaramputhur, Kanjirapuzha, Kottopadam, and Thenkara and potions of Karimbuzha and Karakurussi Panchayaths.
The Janamaithri Police Scheme was started in the third Phase of the Scheme on 03.12.2010 at Mannarkkad Police Station. There are 10 Beats are performing in the Mannarkkad Grama Panchayath and 10 SCPO/CPOs are engaging as &lsquoBeat Officers&rsquo and WCPOs are &lsquoAsst. Beat Officers&rsquo in this project.
