Came into existence

Vadakkenchery circle Police Station has been started functioning on 16.06.1994 as per GO NO 138/1994 dtd 16.06.1994. Prevously station has been functioned in a tiled house Presently the Vadakkenchery Circle office is functioning in the newly Constructed government building. which was inaugurated and opened to the public by Sri Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan,Hon Minister for Home & Vigilance on 22.04.2013,and in which Gazette notification is yet to be received.Vadakkenchery Police Station is also functioning within the same compound and police quarters also existing on the rear side of the compound. Sri Sasibhushan Nair was the 1st Inspector of police of Vadakkanchery Circle.

Vadakkenchery- Thrissur public road is on the front side of the Police station. Vadakkenchery bus stand named Priyadarsini is 1/2 KM north away from the Police station. Vadakkenchery Panchayath Office, Vadakkenchery I Village, PWD rest house, Cherupushpam School, Mannam Maidan, Vadakkenchery Chanthapura, Fish Market, Irrigation office, Kodikattukavu Temple, Hanafi Juma Masjid.
