Came Into Existence
On 15.01.1959 an out Post was started at Mundur under the Mankara police Station Jurisdiction. Later on 04.04.1974 as per the GO (Rt) No 135/74/Home dtd 25.1.1974 an new Kongad Station was inaugurated by the Sri V.N.Rajan IPS The Special Inspector General of Police in a new building infront of the Kongad Bus Stand.
Kunduvampadam, Peringode, Cheraya, Keralassery, thadukkassery. Vadassery, Mucheeri, Ezhakkad, Poothanur, Mundur, Kanjhikulam, Pulappatta were the Desom which comes under Kongad Police Station Jurisdiction.
